Product Description
Lucide BOLTON is a solar-powered outdoor wall light. It has a narrow rectangular body with a light opening below; matt black powder-coated aluminium creates a restrained accent on a façade, fence or beside a terrace. It is useful where mains wiring is unavailable but the solar panel has access to daylight.
The integrated LED source has a rated power of 1 W and output of 100 lm. Fixed 3000 K produces warm white light; colour temperature is not adjustable. CRI 80 describes colour rendering and helps you assess how façade materials and plant colours will appear, while the 77° beam angle describes source light distribution. The body does not rotate and its height is fixed.
PIR motion and day/night sensors work with three built-in brightness modes. Hold the button for 2 s to switch on or off and press for 1 s to change mode; the initial setting after switch-on is Mode A. The manual specifies a dusk threshold of 15 lux. Dimming is handled by these lamp modes, without an external dimmer.
In Mode A, below the dusk threshold the light stays at 10 % and rises to 100 % when motion is detected. Mode B does not use motion detection: initial brightness is 50 %, reducing to 30 % after 2 h and 20 % after 5 h. In Mode C, the light is off in standby, switches to 100 % on motion and turns off after 30 s. These options provide either background light or light only on approach.
Power comes from an integrated solar panel and 1 included lithium-ion battery. The manufacturer lists battery capacity of 2200 mAh, voltage of 3.7 V and weight of 45 g. The battery is not user-replaceable. The light-source electrical specification is 4 V, not a mains connection. The light has no external power cable.
Choose a position where the solar panel is not shaded by a roof, dense branches or other obstructions. Available sunlight, season and operating mode affect charging and actual lighting duration. No single guaranteed number of operating hours after each day’s charging is specified for this variant.
Overall dimensions are 11.2 × 5.8 × 12 cm. The black aluminium wall plate measures 0.5 × 5.8 × 12 cm, and net weight is 0.62 kg. Screw the plate to the wall and secure the body as shown in the installation diagram; placement determines both the illuminated area and sunlight reaching the panel.
Electrical Class III identifies a luminaire operating at safety extra-low voltage. It does not require a fixed mains connection at its installation position.
IP54 provides protection against harmful dust ingress and splashing water. The light is suitable for outdoor use when its seals and connections remain protected; it is not intended for immersion.
The expected LED life is 25 000 h, with a switching endurance of 30 000 switching cycles. These service-life ratings are separate from the luminaire’s 3-year warranty. The LED source, battery and installation materials are included.
